The American Society of Health Economists (ASHE) is a newly formed professional organization dedicated to promoting excellence in health economics research in the United States. ASHE is an affiliate of the International Health Economics Association and will have joint memberships with that organization. ASHE will provide a forum for emerging ideas and empirical results of health economics research. The major activity through which ASHE will achieve its mission will by conducting biennial meetings in the US (alternative years to the iHEA conference).
